What Kind of Fish Can You Catch in the Winter?

The TROUT POLICE Won’t Like This! Stocked Trout Explained (Realistic)

The TROUT POLICE Wont Like This Stocked Trout Explained - Realistic Fishing

The trout police won’t like this! In the first episode this week on Realistic Fishing, we have stocked trout explained. I constantly get comments telling me to “wet my hands” and “you are killing the fish”. These people obviously don’t understand the concept of seasonal stocked trout. I’ve talked to TWRA and they confirmed there is no need to do that with these stocked trout. I break down how the fish get to the creek. I explain why the trout are here. And I even show you how to catch them! I use a couple of different baits today and explain why I am using them.

The trout police want to tell everyone how to fish for trout, but sometimes, they don’t know what they are talking about.

LIVE BAIT vs ARTIFICIAL – Which Lure or Bait Will Catch More Fish?

LIVE BAIT vs ARTIFICIAL Which Lure or Bait Will Catch More Fish YouTube - Realistic Fishing

In the second episode this week we’re fishing live bait vs artificial to see which lure or bait will catch more fish. I start things off fishing with worms and shad. I catch a shad to fish on the bottom, and I fish the worm under a float. I then catch two bluegill on the worms, but nothing on the shad. After moving to a new spot, I switch to artificial lures. I try both the gulp minnows and a small jerkbait. I catch one skipjack on the float rig, and two on the jerkbait. Today, artificial lure come out ahead of the live bait. You never know what happen when you switch from live bait to artificial. You just might catch more fish!

Catching The Most Aggressive Fish From Shore With Lures I Found

Catching The Most Aggressive Fish From Shore With Lures I Found YouTube - Realistic Fishing

In the final episode this week, I’m out catching the most aggressive fish from shore, even with lures I found in a bush. The fishing during this part of the year can be extremely difficult. But when you get on them, you need to catch as many as you can. I start off fishing with an artificial minnow and catch a bunch of skipjack. Then I switch to lures I found in a bush and catch more. They are really hungry and aggressive right now. So if you suspect your lake might have skipjack, tie on a jerkbait, or a sabiki rig, and you just might catch a lot of fish.

See how it all went down in the video below!
